Objective: The objective of this call for tender was to develop further and implement a programme for peer reviews of six volunteer countries to be reviewed in disaster risk management/civil protection for a period of 24 months.
The programme should allow for general peer reviews of disaster risk management policies as well as thematic peer reviews of specific EU disaster risk management/civil protection priorities, notably on risk assessments, risk management capability assessments, and preparedness strategies, based on the guidelines and frameworks developed under the 2015-2016 peer review programme.
INT Task: Fraunhofer INT led the development of the conceptual framework for the peer review programme and accompanied the implementation of six reviews (Cyprus, North Macedonia, Tunisia, Serbia, Algeria and Portugal). This included the development of reports in close collaboration with the expert reviewers.
